The geriatric day was celebrated at our POVVER Old Age Home campus in the president ship of the District Revenue Officer Mr. Ilango. The District Social Welfare Officer Mrs. K. Uma Maheswari invited the delegates and participants. Dr. Arjunan, Mr. K.N. Kumar and Mr. T. Bala Sundaram delivered about the protection of elderly citizens. Miss. C. Geetha submitted the Annual Report. Vote of thanks given by the NGO Director Mr. N. Ramachandran. The PRO Mr. Gandhi coordinated the programme. Sweet, special meals and new chappals were provided to the elderly. Cultural programmes were conducted. General Medical camp was conducted in our campus to our inmates by Sivanthi Hospital, Vivekanandapuram.
